Posted by Brighton Montessori School on 04/19/10  •  Send feedback »

Dear Parents

We need your help!

As part of the DJ night on 30 April, we are going to be running a raffle and selling tickets for £3 each.

We need prizes for the raffle!

For example:

  • Pete is giving some rare CDs signed by the band
  • Carly is offering a Thai massage session
  • Richard is giving some DVDs

Do you have anything you can offer? For example:

  1. A Thai meal cooked for you in your home?
  2. Jewellery that you have made?
  3. A family photography session?
  4. Homemade baked cookies?
  5. An offer to sew / repair clothes?
  6. A voucher from a store?

ANYTHING and EVERYTHING welcomed. If you were to email me what you can offer that would be great.

Raffle tickets can also be bought from the school in the next few days (I'll have tickets in the admin office - they will be £3 each. Just leave your money with name / contact details and you will receive a ticket) as well as at the club night.

Please donate prizes. ALSO - I need one parents to run the raffle on the night. That person will get into the event for free.

So - thank you.

Kindest regards

Bob-A-Job

“Only practical work and experience lead the child to maturity” – Maria Montessori

How are all the children doing in our “Bob – a – Job” fundraising event for the Easter holidays? The children have been busy at school practising their skills in sweeping, washing, dusting and polishing – and there are plenty of other jobs around the home that the children can confidently tackle.

To help raise as much money as possible, please could you ask your family, friends and neighbours to sponsor your child to complete jobs around the house and garden?

We look forward to hearing about all the jobs the children have done. If you need an extra "bob-a-job" sponsor form you can download one here:
