We have an active and involved parent teacher association. All parents and carers with children at the school are members of the PTA.
Through the PTA, the parents actively support the school community, through fundraising and social family events throughout the school year.
The PTA encourages every parent to get involved in a way that works to their strengths. For example, parents have:
- assisted in the school's promotion and website design
- come into school to play a musical instrument to the classes
- organised fundraising or social events
- helped with art projects such as the children's parade
- organised and ran cake sales
The PTA meet once a month to discuss how we can support the school, decide how to raise funds and decide what to buy. Please come along to the next meeting. Dates and times are posted outside each classroom a week before the meeting and also listed in the calendar on the school website.
