In keeping with the roots of Montessori our aim is to be the first established Montessori school to move into the UK public sector, offering nursery-through-primary Montessori education without charging fees to any family.
We are researching what practical and sustainable financial schemes we can offer families now and over the next few years. We wish to enable as many children to stay with us as possible where families cannot afford to pay fees, or who are in particular circumstances where Montessori education in general, or remaining at our school in particular, would benefit the children most. We find that these situations often go together.
Our view is that innovation and change are brought about by organisations that by their very nature and intentions do not fit pigeon holes or existing criteria. We remain committed to our mission to enhance state sector education with this still radical child-centred approach.
