The Brighton and Hove Montessori School was established in 1985 and provides an individualised Montessori education to boys and girls aged two to eleven years.
Our small class sizes enable children to excel within a small and homely yet stimulating environment. Our friendly and experienced teachers facilitate your child’s education and enable learning opportunities within the Montessori classroom and further afield. We work closely with you, the parents, to maximise your child’s potential, thus laying the foundations for your child’s life as an independent, confident individual and a responsible citizen.
The key advantages of a Montessori education are:
- Nurtures independent thinking and learning
- Small class sizes and experienced staff enable excellence in every child
- Expansion and enrichment on National Curriculum at each key stage
- Evaluation of progress without testing
- Promotion of respect for self, community and environment
All our members of teaching staff are fully qualified and hold appropriate Montessori and Early Years qualifications. The school is accredited by Montessori Education (UK) in recognition of authentic Montessori practise. www.montessorieducationuk.org.
