We are located in the Fiveways area of Brighton. We encourage visitors to use sustainable travel options such as public transport, walking or cycling. 

 

By foot

Please use Google Maps for directions to our school or Brighton & Hove City Council’s Walking Map.

 

By bike

If you have a bike, there are cycle lanes across the city. Plan your route using Brighton & Hove City Council’s Cycle Map.

Bikes can be locked up on secure cycle stands within the school site.

Alternatively, Beryl Bikes have bike stations across the city. The closest location to dock hire bikes is a 7 minute walk away, at the bottom of Stanford Avenue, near Preston Park.

 

By bus
Buses are a great way to get around our fantastic city, and there are many routes to Brighton & Hove Montessori School. The bus is better for the environment and can help improve air quality with just one bus taking up to 75 cars off the road.

By rail

London Road railway station is a 10-minute walk away with fast, regular services into Brighton.

By car 

Please check your route for local traffic information before you travel.

On-street parking is limited near Brighton & Hove Montessori School. There are some Pay & Display spaces in the near vicinity with parking meters accepting payment by card or by using the Pay by Phone app.

If arriving by vehicle, including taxi, visitors must ensure parking is safe and legal;

  • without stopping on the yellow zig-zags, double yellow lines, disabled bays or in the way of traffic.

  • Without blocking dropped kerbs or driveways.

  • Without mounting the pavement at any point.

  • Using only permitted bays and paying any pay and display charges as required.

  • Turning engines off when stopping.

By taxi

In Brighton, Hackney Carriage taxis are white and aqua and can be hailed on the street or booked by calling Brighton Streamline Taxis on 01273 202020.

Private hire vehicles, including app based operators, can only be booked and won’t pick up passengers from the street.
